Most of my Saturdays are spent with the guys, but today we have had a couple of extra guys along for the ride to add to the guy-ness. We've had Miles and Jacob over one at a time while their parents enjoy the sunny beaches of Hawaii and celebrate ten years! The party started Friday night with chocolate chip cookies and The Nightmare Before Christmas in the tent in the boys' room.
They FINALLY crashed out.
Today we were going to try to see the Blue Angels for Fleet Week in San Francisco, but the traffic was awful so we ended up taking a hike on the beach in Pacifica.
I had a small anxiety attack taking four little boys up this cliffhanger of a trail, but Jason talked us all through it and the views were incredible! And on the other side, it was nice and flat so they could all run and have cattail fights.
Then a little wave running completed the afternoon.
Tonight we have Jacob to spend the night. We've already had the requisite armpit farting contest at dinner...
And at 10:43 pm, they are finally asleep in the tent! Let's just hope they stay that way for a bit. Goodnight!
