Santa comes to preschool

Today we had the Christmas party at preschool. Jason was Santa, and to our surprise the boys did not figure it out! They were completely enamored with Mr. Claus but no spark of recognition appeared. We were relieved. It was so hard for me to not laugh when I saw that Santa had his coat on backward and his dress shoes on.

A Child is Born! A Child is Born!

Today my friend Kelly had her third baby and I got to be there... After two boys, she now has a baby girl! The whole room screamed when Baby Ava came out and one of the nurses said, "It's not a HE..." We are so happy for Jonathan and Kelly and their three beautiful children. It was a perfect day for a perfect baby to come into the world. In my excitement I forgot my camera and all I had was my picture phone.

The Learning Curve has begun

This page is a work in progress. Please bear with me as I learn how to do it. My hope is that we will create a place where we can communicate with our family and friends what we are up to on a regular basis. Of course, I want it to be pretty too :) Therein lies the challenge. I have a whole new language to learn here! I'm feeling a little stoopid right now.

Quick! Before the day is over!

I cannot forget to mark the occasion... today marks 8 years of our marriage. I am so lucky and blessed to have such a man as Jason in my life. Every year I love you more deeply than the year before. Happy anniversary, baby!

I've taken over...

I was inspired by a friend today and I have hijacked the blog! I am hoping to actually learn how to use it and make it useful and fun. Let's see how well I do.

It's a few days before Christmas, the boys are nestled in their beds (well, at least one of them is nestled UNDER his bed...) and it's quiet in the house. One of my favorite times of day!
