Still moving in

It usually only takes us a day to move in, but for some reason it's taking forever this time around! Maybe it's the fact that we don't have to be out of the old place just yet, maybe it's that I'm 6 months pregnant and can only do about one box at a time, maybe it's because trying to accomplish anything with a 4 year old and a 2 year old is almost impossible. At any rate, we are still trying to get things going. We love our new place, it's much too much house for us but still fun. We have rooms that are completely empty. Go figure...the boys' favorite room is the garage. And they love every opportunity to ride in the truck!

Life

We had a great trip to hawaii. You can view the entire trip on the link below. We came back and moved two days later. It has been an very stressful week. However, it has provided great opportunities to learn.

The boys love their new pad. Last week Thomas came into our bed early in the morning. We were all lying in bed. He looked at me. I had not shaven yet. He said, "daddy, what's on you chin?" " I don't know what is it?"I replied. "You got bugs on you chin", in his very cute voice. "They eatin you" and he laughed histerically. It was quite funny.

They are growing extremely fast...

The weekend - a hike with the boys

We had a fun weekend. Saturday I spent most of the day deep cleaning the Beresford house so that it would be ready to move in next week. The best part, however, was taking Wesley and Thomas hiking today.

They had a blast! It is so much fun seeing them learn about the world. Things that I easily take for granted seem to absolutely astonish them. They really enjoy the outdoors. Wesley told me on the way up (we went to a redwood park in Woodside, CA) that he really loved how peaceful and quiet it was out there. "Dad, can we move here or go camping?" he said.

I would love to! They had a great time stomping in puddles and throwing rocks in the streams along the trail. To my amazement they devoured a bunch of craisins (cranberry raisins). Thomas wanted to and insisted on holding my hand most of the way - a very memorable moment that I am sure I will miss when he is a teen and wants nothing to do with my hand except to feed him some cash.

Quick way to stat up to date

I don't know. Technology seems to continue making certain things in life more simple. I really enjoy finding new tools that make communication and getting information easy. Tonight I did a little research on RSS feeds. I try to keep up with the news and certain sites but often find it overwhelming.

Introduce RSS feeds. they allow you to gather all your content in one place. OK so now I have put you to sleep. The short story - click on this link Pluck and get an account. Then click on the link to Pluck on the right side of this site and anytime that we add some content you will be automatically notified and not have to remember to come here to check and see that we havent' updated for two years. Simple!
