This weekend the four of us took a trip to Angel Island. It's funny this place is so close (about a 1/2 hour drive then a 20 minute boat trip past Alcatraz - and we have never been there before. It's like a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Bay Area! The boys loved the boat ride and we had a fabulous time.
Highlights:
Wesley was afraid to climb the hill in the bottom center picture. We talked about overcoming fears - and he went for it!
Thomas walked the (almost) the entire way with a great attitude. It was a 2 mile hike (about 10 miles for a 1.8 year old). Food/snacks didn't do the enticing - it was letting him know there was always another puddle if he kept on going.
