Another weekend come and gone...

Well until Wendy posts a picture of her new look I will fill you in on the hapening of this weekend. She does, by the way, look absolutely fabulous! I really like it.

Friday I had hard day in the field (playing golf) for a tournament at work. It was very fun. I have actually purchasd some clubs, shoes and played more this year than ever in my life. I am even entertaining taking some lessons. Last week I took my Dad and we played a 3 par course in the hills (I think I forgot to post that).

Saturday I took the boys to play soccer. None of us wanted to go. But we did and enjoyed it as always. Usually Wesley says he doesn't want to go then he gets into it. Thomas is absolutely hilarious and loves every bit of it. He is in a group called "rising stars" and they start with "hands in the middle". They yell, "go rising stars!" He gets all fired up and runs around. It is very cute.

After soccer I took them to Shoreline Park and the three of us rented a paddle boat, ran around in the grass and I sat while they played on a boat structured jungle gym. Great memories!

Saturday night Wendy and I were fortunate to go out on a date (** 3 now within the first 5 weeks of Nathan being born **). We went with some friends to a cool restaurant that my Dad turned us on to called Mantras. The food there is absolutely wonderful.

Today we had a church service in the park followed by a BBQ, naps and house work. It was quite satisfying; I mowed the lawn, put up some pictures on the wall and started to clean up the office. Now it's time for bed...

sounds like a fun filled weekend. I notice your reading the kite runner? That's on my list of books to read, hope it's good. Have you read "the quiver" our bible talk group is supposed to be reading it.

dates are cool. start a baby sitting co-op group. you can get a date 3-4 times a month, with only one turn for baby sitting. it's worth it.
