Time flies...

Looking back the last time I logged an entry was on July 1, 2006. It is now August 24th - almost 2 months! I have had many, many time that I wanted to put something on here but have been absolutely swamped. When I am not swamped I am completely and utterly tired. Having three kids, loving my wife, working two businesses, walking with God and breathing has become exhausting.

It's fun but exhausting. Sometimes I sit back and think, " I love this." Other times I sit back and thinkg, "I want to move to a small mountain town in Colorado." Wendy has done a good job of keeping the world abreast of the most recent happenings. She works super hard. I don't know how she does it. She manages our home, keeps on top of all three boys, cooks food, cleans, etc., etc., etc., (and on top of all that she helps me with my grammer and puncuation use - I am sure she will have some to say with this entry :)

In any case, I am going to post some random pictures and thoughts to give you a small recap of my brain over the past two months:

William Eleazer getting baptized. I know it just looks like a bunch of bright sticks but it is actually a person. Maybe I already blogged this - that just tells you my energy level. But if I did it's good to hear it again - when I was 21 (or) William, Matthew Delony and Joe Schaffernoth(sp?) were all my boys age! Now they are baptized disciples! I got very excited about the crew my boys run with and what that will look
like in 10+ years...

Random house. It's part business part pleasure. One of the things Wendy and I do is check out houses. This happens to be an entry that we liked. Mediterranean/spanish style is what we will build someday. All tile is definately what I like. It's hard to tell how cool this entry and porch was from this picture. I need Heather to come down from Sac and do all my photo shoots.

I travel (some) throughout the state due to some of my clients. I have spent lots of time these days out in the El Dorado Hills/Placer County area. It's funny that is where I was born and lived for the first 5 years of my life. This was on the road to a board meeting in Georgetown - what a beautiful rive. I wanted to jump in.

I meant to blog our trip to Oregon (Wendy posted all of it) so much for my "intentions" - in any case, Wesley, Thomas and Nathan are blessed to have the coolest set of 4 grandparents, quite possibly on the planet. Here Wesley is driving Boppa's tractor on the farm. They actually have a red barn! Can you imagine going to visit your grandparents at 4 who live on a farm with a red barn and a tractor?

I am quite possibly the luckiest man on the
planet.

As I said above, I am in Sacramento quite frequently (actually should connect with some of you sacramentans who track this blog when in town...) but I had lunch on Tuesday right next to the Delta King. This is the place that I asked this beautiful woman in the picture above to be my wife. In fact, it was this weekend 9 years ago!

That's all for now.

Wow, you must be exhausted since you lost your third kid in only the first paragraph (probably just a typo:) Props to you for keeping it all going! Hope you get some time to chill soon. We would love to see you all anytime. We will be living in the vinyards for another month here in Lodi if you want to visit or wait till we move closer to Sac to see ya!

Yeah, you need to call us whenever you're in town. It's always good to keep in touch with anyone.
