Hump Day

This had better be the hump! I'm in a bad mood today. I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. We are trying to potty train Thomas and he is being the biggest stinker. Two days in dry underwear, so I gave him a car and five minutes later he peed all over the floor and tried to pretend I wouldn't notice. I took that car right back. Today he is arguing about everything. They warn you about the terrible twos, but no one even dares tell you about THREE.

Anyway, that's not the point of the post. I wanted to share my new creation. I am so proud of myself.

I made a blankie for Natey!

If you know my kids well, you know that they are blanket addicts. Wesley's was hand made by my sister in law Darlene. Thomas' came from Target because well, it just did. So now finally, I have made my son a blanket! Thanks to Grandma Jil for teaching me to crochet on her last trip down and helping me on my first try when I made a jumbled up mess. I'm happy with how it came out, and Nate seems to like it.

Yea!! I love to crochet, I was just thinking of making a blanket for Rocky, funny. I was told once that if potty training is hard, then they just arn't ready. We tried a couople of times with Jack and it was hard, so we quite. We would try every so often, and it wasnt' working. So we waited and tried again and he picked it up right away, it was so easy. Not sure if that is true for every kid, but "wait till it's easy" worked for us. He was about 3 and 1 month old when he finally got it. Good luck!!
