And who would not be encouraged by this:

Wesley was faithful for about three months in asking us and God for nothing but a light saber for Christmas. When he woke up and opened that present he was elated! His brother was equally persistent. It has been Star Wars Episode VII in our home ever since. Every day that battle between good and evil is acted out in our home. Hmmm....
For Christmas we were joined by my mom, dad and Uncle and we had a wonderful time. We celebrated with food, gifts and conversation for 3 days. I think it should be illegal to have that much fun in such a short period of time.
I am enjoying the boys very much. I started some of my new years resolutions early this year and have been running every day. This morning (at the dark hour of 5:45) I was getting ready to walk out the door and Wesley popped his smiling face out - "morning dad". So I decided to take him with me. We didn't run as far as normal. But I had him in wagon tow behind and it was very fun. I felt like I had run further because of the extra weight.
Also, I get the most encouraging welcomes as I walk through the door everyday. "Mr. Incredibles Home! Mr. Incredibles Home! Hi Mr. Incredible!" And they both jump in my arms. It melt a man's heart. One of their favorite movies is the Incredibles. So Wesley has assumed the role of Dash, Thoms Jack-Jack, Mom is Elasta-Girl and I am Mr. Incredible. This, of course, was all concocted by Wesley. But after fighting the bad guys in the insurance world all day it is a very nice welcome home.
So after the run this morning I told Wesley that we should go on a prayer walk. We talked about how Jesus is the most incredible super hero and that he got his strength from prayer. So Wesley quickly volunteered to pray. He wants to be a super-hero. I shared with him Mark 1:35 that says, "very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus go up left the house and went to a solitary place to pray." The I said that he was being just like Jesus because he was up early while it was still dark and out praying. He was excited. My vulken mind meld is working...
Wendy is really the bionic woman in my opinion. And she has the most incredible stamina out of all of us. I think I go to work to take a break. I really don't know how she does it and I am very thankful that she is my wife. If I were the pregnant one taking care of two rambunctious boys every day I would sleep like a baby! I would get up every two hours and cry! Thank you honey!
More to come...
