Things just got a little more complicated around here. (As if they weren't already...)
NATHAN IS CRAWLING!
I was so excited because for the first time ever, I got to actually see with my own two eyes the first time he ever did it. Wesley and Thomas always crawled and walked at daycare weeks before I got to see for myself. But Nathan provided us all with a show last week. It has only taken days for him to get really, really good at it. I have never been much for babyproofing, the other boys just sort of seemed to learn what not to touch or eat with a few stern "NO"s. This one may be a little different. I have already caught him trying to stick his finger in the light socket (the ONE that wasn't covered)...I pulled a screw out of his hand just as it was going into the mouth...and tonight he tried the old tablecloth trick, pulling a glass down on his head and giving himself a nice little bloody cut near his lower eyelid. I felt horrible. I should have known he could move! I never even USE tablecloths except the boys wanted to have a fancy picnic for dinner! Bad Mommy!
Ahhh...well. He actually did pretty well with the ice pack and hopefully he won't have a scar or anything. Guess the Easter pictures will have to wait a week or so. In the meantime you can enjoy his 10 month sock monkey pic here.
