The Waiting Game and other random thoughts

Happy Tuesday! It seems like we are doing a lot of waiting right now and it sort of makes life exciting. In four days the contingencies on our house sale should be removed. We have applied for a house only a few doors down from our good friends the Hudgins, we should know in the next couple of days whether we got it. Hopefully these two things will fall into place so we can make our plans to move.

Meanwhile, Nathan turned 11 months old, I cannot believe he is almost a year already! In the past few days he has discovered... "the cruise". He is now pulling up and cruising on whatever he can reach. It's hilarious when he forgets how to get down. He has pulled a faux tree down on himself already, among other misadventures. I just love this kid. Right now I am waiting for him to wake up so we can go run some errands.

We are working on "the drop off" with Wesley. There is a turnaround at school where you can drive up and drop off your kid. Well my son will not have it. He insists on everyone getting out of the car and walking him in to school. Which was fun for the first, oh, six months of school. Now it is getting really old, especially when I have all three kids with me which is most of the time. We have tried numerous times to do the drop off and he just freaks and gets paralyzed and it always ends badly. Well, Jason is having some success doing it in small increments. He did "half a drop off" last week...walked him into the playground and left...and today they did "3/4 drop off" which meant they drove through, Jason jumped out with Wesley and ran him to the gate opening. I am really hoping that soon we can actually do the WHOLE dropoff!
