Saturday morning, school, coffee and other blah, blah

"Plans are only good intentions unless they immediately degenerate into hard work." Peter Drucker

That was one of the paid advertisements in my google inbox this morning. I have no commentary.

Sitting here this morning. It's about 10:51 and already close to 90 in the house. Wesley and I rode our bikes to starbucks to get a coffee and juice. We had a good talk on the way about why God doesn't do the things in our times that he did in the bible - any thoughts? We also talked about how cool it is that he and his brothers are millenium kids. Meaning that it will be another 1,000 years before anyone is born at the beginning of a 1,000 year period.

Yesterday was his last day of school. He is now officially a 2nd grader. Thomas is done with pre-school and will enter into Kindergarden in a couple months as the same school. Nathan is one of the cutest, soft hearted, good natured 2 year old kids I have ever had (only 3 for the record). So that's not bad odds on his part. I was sitting with him this morning and noticed that he has the exact same calic on the right side of his head as I do and the same on the back of his head as well. It was an intersting genetic moment for me.

Wendy is out taking a sanity break. Tonight we are going on a date.

Right now they are occupied playing playdough;

You can see what I am doing :)
