Thanksgiving has come and gone and the holidays are on their way already! We had a nice long weekend. Started our Thanksgiving with a nice park hike in Palo Alto. We saw Perry, the donkey who modeled for Shrek, and had a good time crunching in the leaves. We even found a rope swing!
Then we were off to the Smiths for Thanksgiving dinner. There were four families, everyone brought a few (hundred) things and we had a huge feast of delicious flavors. Of course the kids ate nothing but pumpkin pie...does anyone have the secret to getting kids to eat when they are together? They just want to play!
Friday we went to the Academy of Sciences in SF. They have a cool "living roof". It looks like some sort of live organic spaceship. Me likey.
The rest of the weekend was just spent hanging around, putting up some Christmas decorations and I took the big boys to see Bolt at the movies. Cute movie! And, J and I got to sneak out for dinner last night at one of our favorite places downtown with a bottle of Spanish wine. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.
