Happy Mothers Day

Every now and again I enjoy some off beat humor. You can click on the card to see more cynical humor if you have it in you!

Happy Mothers Day Wendy! From me and from the three miniature ones we created. Thank you for 12 years of laughing, crying, playing, traveling, growing, arguing, spending, saving, loving and working. I cannot imagine life without you and am thankful that God brought us together so many years ago. We are only in the first quarter! Maybe the buzzer just went off and it's time for us to prepare for the second (of 4) quarters. After all 4 more of these will only be 48 years. Then it's time for the after-game show.

Ecclesiastes 4

6 Better one handful with tranquillity
than two handfuls with toil
and chasing after the wind.

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:

10 If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!

11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?

12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

The times I enjoy most are talking with you, not chasing the wind. I have only been able to chase the wind because you have given me a better return. I have fallen down many times and you continue to pick me up. We lie together and it's always warm. Have a wonderful day.

Enjoy your sweet hot pink cruiser!

The boys and I spent all day today tricking it out! You have a basket on the front (for trips to the store), a seat for Nathan and a trailer bike for Thomas. We put a horn on the front and threw in a phat pink girlie helmet. Best of all today I took all the boys out in the neighborhood to test it out. Oh yes, several men sneered and heckled. But us men rode on, confident of our manhood, our gang, our tribe we rode on.

Happy Mothers Day! I love you....
